Benders Sports and Spirits is located on the corner of Frankford and Midway in the Frankford shopping center. We renovated the old Bent Tree Piano Bar to create a classy sports bar with TVs on every wall. It’s a place where you can watch all of the games in a relaxed atmosphere.
Besides the renovations, patrons of the new Benders Sports and Spirits will get to enjoy an increased drink selection. If you want to drink a beer while watching sports, we have something to wet your whistle. Besides traditional classics like Bud Light, Coors, and Miller Light, we also carry over 40 different bottled beers. Benders Sports and Spirits also has a couple of homebrews. Craft beer lovers should try Benders Blond, a crisp, golden lager, and Benders Naughty Red, a delicious raspberry ale.
You’re going to need some food to go with these drinks. Just because we’re a sports bar doesn’t mean you’re stuck with wings and french fries. Benders Sports and Spirits has a full menu with options you won’t find at your typical bar. Be sure to get an order of our Bender Bangers, six, deep-fried jumbo shrimp that have been stuffed with cream cheese and a hint of jalapeno. You should also try our cajun fried pickles or fried jalapenos. We have several sandwiches, custom burgers, and, yes, we have wings.
If you’re not in the mood for beer, Benders Sports and Spirits also has cocktails and shots. You can never go wrong with a margarita. And if you’re feeling adventurous, try our Casper Mule cocktail. It features ghost pepper infused tequila, ginger beer, and a splash of lime juice. We also have specialty shots like El Droppo, which has Lunazul Tequila dropped in a glass off Stiegl Radler. If you want a shot that will light a fire in your soul, try the Diablo Droppo, which is jalapeño ghost tequila dropped in a glass off Stiegl Radler.
It’s always a good time to visit Benders Sports and Spirits. There’s always something good on the TVs and something delicious on the menu. We also have some fantastic happy hour specials. To be honest, it’s less of a “happy hour” and more of a “happy third of the day.” Every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. we have deals like $3.00 Domestic Beers, $3.25 Well Drinks, $4.50 Freezer Shots, and $1.00 off all other drinks.
